For the Capital Campaign in 2016, a Grant Application was submitted to the Atherton Foundation to assist with funding the repair of the outside walls of our historic church. At that time, Christ Church was in the midst of several major transitions and we were unable to raise the matching funds needed to begin the repairs. We all assumed that the grant funding would not be available, but GREAT NEWS. Just last week, the Atherton Foundation contacted the office and said that we would be eligible to receive the full funding of $25,000 if we can provide copies of the Building Permits by September 2018. Since our Bishop Committee and Wardens have been very diligent in getting these much needed repairs initiated, we should be able to apply for and receive the necessary permits to begin the repair work. This totally unanticipated funding will allow us to complete several more repairs than our current funding would have allowed. Please call the Office at 808-323-3429 to learn more about the repairs we envision or about the grant itself. MAHALO to Atherton for their generosity in allowing us this extended time.
